I wanted to thank the people at Scent Lok for making a product that has changed my bow hunting forever.  I live in North Carolina and the early season bow hunts have always been a challenge for me because of the heat and sweat, then of course dealing with the unforgiving nose of the whitetail deer.  After hearing everyone talk about how great the new carbon suits are and how they were able to see and get closer to animals, I thought it was time to give it a shot.  I bought the full season suit a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with the performance.  Yesterday the 15th of September was a day I will not forget.  I got to my stand around 5:00 and as soon as I climbed the tree in my Summit Viper the action exploded.  I couldn’t even get my release on, let alone knock an arrow.  In a matter of moments I had eight deer standing all around me from 5 yards to about 30.  I was sweating, my adrenalin was pumping and the deer had no idea I was there.  After about 5 minutes all of deer moved in the soybean field, which gave me the opportunity to get my bow and release ready.  After all the excitement, I decided to sit down and relax for a few minutes, and that was about all the time I had before I looked behind me and about 25 yards in the soy bean field was a 120 to 125 class 8 point that I had been scouting a few weeks before.  I slowly reached for my bow and waited for the deer to give me a clean shot.  He did exactly what I wanted him to do but it seems I did not account for the little limb that jumped out and grabbed my arrow after release.  The arrow was deflected and the deer ran about 10 yards and stopped not knowing what had just happened.  For the next 10 or 15 minutes I was able to watch this beautiful buck and not spook him.  Your suit is the reason I will get a second chance at this deer.  After meeting my buddy back at the truck he asked me how in the world was I able to get that close to those deer, he said the wind was swirling like crazy.  I think I just sold him on Scent Lok too.

Thank You,
